We Are The People

2 Kings 13:19 “And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”  

The Prophet Elisha told the King that since you struck the arrows only three times in your strategic role in planning, you will only strike Syria three times, but they will not be totally defeated. Syria would remain an enemy to deal with in the future.

Pray that strategists and planners will have the mind of God in wisdom as to how they can advise our leaders in victories near at hand and in the future. It is easier to fight and win battles once than to conduct long, protracted conflict.
