We Are The People

2 Kings 13:23 “But the Lord was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.”

Israel was under attack continually by Syria. The Lord was gracious to His people. I like to define grace as “the operational power of God.” I get this from what the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor 15:10 He did all he did for God by His grace.

Let us pray that all believers in America will understand those words when they sing “God shed His grace on thee.” God has chosen to minister His powerful grace upon this land but let us not take God’s grace for granted. We need His power to be made perfect in this day where we see God and His people under attack in so many ways.
