Thursday April 15, 2021 “God of Compassion”
2 Kings 13:23 “But the Lord was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.”
God had compassion on Israel. Jesus tells us about being compassionate in the story of the Good Samaritan. This is so important. We must be compassionate without respect of persons.
Pray that as individuals and a nation that we will have wisdom to be compassionate toward others. We are taught in scripture that God will be compassionate toward us.
