2 Kings 14:11-12 “¹¹ But Amaziah would not heed. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went out; so he and Amaziah king of Judah faced one another at Beth Shemesh, which belongs to Judah. ¹² And Judah was defeated by Israel, and every man fled to his tent.”

Amaziah led his people into a battle on their own turf. This is never good, but Judah would be tested by their “brothers” in Israel. Amaziah should have stayed home. Pray that our leaders in this still new administration will know that they as all previous administration, will be tested by the global family. As with Judah, we must learn when to stay home and not encourage others to enter into conflict or we may flee to our tents.
