Wednesday May 19, 2021 “Never Forever”
2 Kings 14:29 & 15:1 “29 So Jeroboam rested with his fathers, the kings of Israel. Then Zechariah his son reigned in his place.”
“1 In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah the son of Amaziah, king of Judah, became king.”
We have prayed this previously, but it is a prayer worth repeating. Pray that our leaders will have the sober realization that they will not serve in a position nor live forever. Someone will come in their place. The Psalmist David wrote, “Goodness and mercy shall follow me.”
Let us pray that will be the desire of current leaders, religious and political and business in the land. We must lead so as to leave this world a better place.
