We Are The People

2 Kings 15:23-24 “²³ In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years. ²⁴ And he did evil in the sight of the Lord; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin.”

Year after year it seems that there was evil in the throne of Israel and Judah. They followed in their father’s footsteps and missteps. Let us pray today that in the Fall when we have the opportunity to vote for some of our leaders that we will elect people who will be men and women who will follow Jesus Christ and the Word of God.
