2 Kings 16:13 “¹³ So he burned his burnt offering and his grain offering; and he poured his drink offering and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.”

King Ahaz came back from Damascus to his people and the first thing he does is sacrifice to the heathen altar built like the one in Syria, a heathen land sold over to the worship of idols. Ahaz offered burnt offerings which was to bring pleasure to God when the offering reached His nostrils. In the New Testament we read that faith pleases God. Pray that as our president and other leaders travel around the world that they will not bring things to America that will take away from Biblical faith that is pleasing to God and replace that with religious approach to pleasing God.
