2 Kings 16:17  ¹⁷ And King Ahaz cut off the panels of the carts, and removed the lavers from them; and he took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stones. 

We discovered the past couple of days that King Ahaz changed many things in the religious worship of God.  Unfortunately, change is not always good.  Ahaz ordered the cart be changed that transported holy things.  The last time the use of the cart was to move the Ark of the Covenant.  When an ox pulling the cart stumbled, a man steadied the ark and was struck dead.

Pray that the presence of God will be respected and honored when prayer is offered and when new sessions of government legislative bodies are offered.  Pray that blessings and wisdom will be imparted.
