It seems here that King Ahaz attempted to prevent the Assyrian king, an idolater from freely entering the house of the Lord.  Pray that the church in America will protect its uniqueness of its place with God as being His ambassadors and intercessors.  The church must keep its membership requirements of being open to only born again believers in Jesus Christ.
