2 Kings 17:9

^9 “Also the children of Israel secretly did against the Lord their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Tonight, as we gather to pray for America, we find 3 points for prayer. This verse reveals the apostacy of Israel which could be any other nation on earth.

Prayer Focus #1 What Israel did they thought God could not see. Fact is, God sees all and knows all. Let us pray in agreement that sins that are hidden be revealed and dealt with especially in our government.

Prayer Focus #2 Israel did things that were not right. Pray that there will be conviction for the sins of omission in America – those done knowingly and unknowing by due to prejudice or unfairness. God loves a just weight and an even balance.

Prayer Focus #3 Israel build places for pagan worship in their fortified or enriched cities and the watch towers. Pray that the “idols” built to human ingenuity that are not biblically sound will be brought down and that there will be places of safety (watchtowers) and fortified (strong) cities established upon godliness across America. Pray that our city leaders will keep clear of corruption.
