Sunday August 1, 2021 “They Did Not Hear”

2 Kings 17:14

14 “Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

The devil comes against a nation to undermine the underpinning of righteousness and decency. America finds itself in the crosshairs of Satan and his disciples in so many different ways in our world today.

Prayer Focus #1 God’s people would not hear what He had to say through the prophets so they would soon suffer the consequences of their refusal to hear God’s warnings. Pray that across the USA people will have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to America at this critical time in history.

Prayer Focus #2 First the people would not hear and then they stiffened their necks. They were stubborn and prideful people in Government and Technology will be brought down from their lofty attitude of being better and wiser than the rest of us. God knows how to humble the prideful

Prayer Focus #3 Those who resisted God and His will learned from their fathers to be stubborn and unbelieving toward the one true God. Pray that these second generation of non-believers will lay down the ways of their fathers that are a reproach unto God and seek the Lord when and where He may be found.
