We Are The People

2 Kings 17:21 “²¹ For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam drove Israel from following the Lord, and made them commit a great sin.”

The people, not God promoted Jeroboam to be king. The Word of God teaches us that He promotes people to positions of authority. In America we have the privilege as Christians to hear from God and at the ballot box we work together with God to vote people into office. Pray that God’s people will vote for candidates that have a record of leading according to Biblical principles and the Constitution. Also pray that God have mercy on us for not discipling the nation according to the word and for Christians either voting in non-biblical way or not voting at all.
