2 Kings 18:4 “⁴ He removed the ^[a]high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the ^[b]wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it ^[c]Nehushtan.”

Hezekiah got rid of the places of pagan worship and the idols of idolaters. He also destroyed the bronze serpent that God had the children of Israel make that when lifted high and looked upon by Israel would be healed of the deadly snake bites.

Pray that God will reveal to Americans the “bronze serpents” made by man cannot be elevated to the position reserved for God alone. Those things no matter what category – religious, medical or technological must be brought down and Jesus must be lifted high.
