We Are The People

2 Kings 18:8 “He subdued the Philistines, as far as Gaza and its territory, from watchtower to fortified city.”

Hezekiah, king of Judah, was a man who trusted God, removed idols from the land and kept God’s commands. Because of that God was with him and prospered him. Hezekiah also rebelled against Assyria refusing to serve. Here in verse 8, we discover that Hezekiah subdued or struck the Philistines in their well-fortified cities to their watchtowers.

Pray that America’s leaders and military will fight strategically in the area of security and places where our enemies are well equipped in any future conflicts. As we turn back to God as a people, may God give us foresight to see what can be done before we must enter into a conflict.
