2 Kings 18:9 “Now it came to pass in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it.”

Syria, in response to Hezekiah’s attack, besieged Samaria. That means they cut off the supply lines. Pray that America will return to levels of self-reliance so that our enemies will not be able to out us off from vital resources. This could draw us into a war. Prevention against war is to be pro-active.
