Tuesday October 5, 2021 “Trust That Hurts”
2 Kings 18:21 “Now look! You are trusting in the staff of this broken reed, Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.”
The message sent to King Hezekiah read, “If you lean on or trust Egypt, you will wind up being hurt.” Pray today that our reputation in the world community will be upheld by our commitment to stay with our allies in thick or thin. We cannot become untrustworthy in this word that needs stability.
