Tuesday October 12, 2021 “People of Faith and Truth”
2 Kings 18:27 “27 But the Rabshakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat and drink their own waste with you?”
Rabshakeh was sent with a message from Sennacherib king of Assyria to God’s people great and small. He said the message was one of mass destruction (sent by God.) Rabshakeh wanted everyone to be caught up in fear. Fear will keep a true believer from living by faith. Pray today that messages that create fear will be discerned to be a message from hell to be rejected by the just who are to live by faith.
