2 Kings 18:29 “²⁹ Thus says the king: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his hand.”

The lying Rabshakeh contended that Hezekiah king of Judah would not be able to deliver God’s people out of Sennacherib, king of Assyria’s hand.  The Psalmist wrote “My soul escapes like a bird out of the snare of the fowler”.  Trust the Lord and His servants to bring deliverance from wicked men and the forces behind them.  Pray that a spirit of faith be upon God’s people that will enable them to stand in these days of idle threats and disparaging words.
