Wednesday October 20, 2021 “Peace By a Present”
2 Kings 18:31 “31 Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria: ‘Make peace with me [a]by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;
“Peace by a present” actually is by paying high taxes. Years ago there was a Tea Party in Boston. Somehow, there needs to be a “no” that everyone understands in America when it comes to the tax and spend mentality and socialistic policies. Pray that as we told our youth of some years ago, “Just say no!” Tea anyone?
