We Are The People

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

It seems that God had enough of the evil in the days of Hezekiah as He did in the days of Sodom & Gomorrah and Noah. Judgement was coming.  This leads us into three Prayer Points tonight:

Prayer Focus #1:  God would send a spirit upon the Assyrian king even as what happened when Jehosophat King of Judah was surrounded by Moab, Ammon and Mt. Seir. And a spirit of confusion came upon those forces and those three enemy forces fought against one another and Judah came out of the battle with riches it took three days to gather up.  Pray that a spirit of confusion would strike enemy forces that are against the church and America.

Prayer Focus #2:  A rumor took the king of Assyria back to his own land.  Rumors are used many times to cause panic.  Pray that enemies inside and outside of America will be caught in their own traps of rumor and inuendo causing them to do things that will bring them to the place where they are caught in their own lies and rumors used to destabilize our wonderful nation.

Prayer Focus #3: Pray that where the enemies of our Constitutional Republic are attempting to bring about change that threatens our freedoms and uniqueness in the world will foil in their attempts to change what has been the greatest example of freedom the world has ever known.  Pray that all attempts to change the great opportunities to take the Gospel to all people here and abroad will fail.
