2 Kings 19:20 “²⁰ Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.”

Because you prayed, God said to the King, I have heard. There are times we do more talk about sin and injustice than we pray. Pray today that we will listen to and act on God’s word here in second Kings. In doing so we will also reverse the words of James, “You receive not, because you ask not.”
