Sunday January 2, 2022 “Reconciled”

2 Corinthians 5:18 “18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Verse 17 tells us that if we are new creatures – the old is passed and the new has arrived. Looking through that lens lets us look at the possibilities in this new year as boundless and limitless. Let us keep this in mind as we agree on 3 prayer points this evening:

Prayer Point 1: “All things are of God.” As we renew our minds on the word of God let us see ourselves as being “of God.” Pray that God’s people in America will see ourselves bringing new things into the land that Isaiah 43 prophesied would “spring forth” accomplishing the miraculous. We need the miracle power of God in America more than anytime in our lifetime.

Prayer Point 2: We are reconciled to God this verse tells us. This new creation through reconciliation to God affords us much favor. Pray that we will see ourselves under the tremendous favor of God and act in faith on the promise of God for peace and rest in the land.

Prayer Point 3: We who were once separated from God through our sins are now given the ministry of reconciliation by the Lord Himself. Pray that we will have many opportunities to share Jesus with others in this new year of 2022 and that we will yield to the Holy Spirit for power and ability to accomplish the mission to be a blessing to others.
