We Are The People

2 Corinthians 6:14

“¹⁴ Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

God is serious about being separate from the world and its systems. Let us pray tonight on the subject of the following 3 prayer points:

Prayer Focus Point #1: Pray that believers will take it seriously to be yoked in marriage, close friendships and business with believers. Israel’s difficult times were brought on when there was compromise in their relationships with heathen within their borders and international affairs.

Prayer Focus Point #2: Paul addressed the point of righteousness and lawlessness. Pray that we will choose as a nation to be guided by what is biblically right and avoid lawlessness that puts a nation on a collision course with destruction.

Prayer Focus Point #3: Pray that the church in America will brighten their lamps by choosing to not have fellowship with darkness that dims the lamp. Pray that there will be a desire in the lives of believers to brighten their lights to the place where darkness is dispelled as they enter conversations and activities in life.
