2 Corinthians 7:12 “Therefore, although I wrote to you, I did not do it for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear to you.”

Paul didn’t get involved in the trouble or take sides. His motivation for intervention was to show the heart of God for His people who became divided due to the strife. Let us pray for the hand of God to be upon God’s people to receive God’s blessing of comfort and peace as He works to bring power back to the church as wounds are healed. This is a great testimony when the world sees the care of God for those who love Him through godly leadership like Paul was to Corinth.
