Wednesday March 2, 2022 “Beyond Our Ability”

2 Corinthians 8:2-3 “that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,”

Yesterday our prayer emphasis was on v.2 and today we will look at v.3.  The Apostle Paul was applauding the churches in Macedonia who gave to help others beyond what they were able to do. The God we serve can still multiply loaves and fish when there are people like the Apostles who distributed 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed the 5,000. Pray that the people of God will be willing to give beyond their ability in the financial realm and the use of their time to bring salvation and blessing to those who need to know Christ.
