We Are The People

2 Corinthians 8:14-15

^“14 but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. ¹⁵ As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.””

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

The early church had an abundance and then they lacked. One church had great need and then another would lack sufficient resources. Whenever the church with abundance saw the needs of others, they compassionately reached out to those who lacked so there would be no need in the Body.

Tonight, we will pray in agreement with the Word of God concerning three focus points:

Prayer Focus Point #1: The word equality is mentioned at the beginning and the end of verse 14. Pray that this important point will always be before us as the people of God. We must treat everyone fairly – even as the Golden Rule teaches.

Prayer Focus Point #2: Pray that the church in America that is so greatly blessed will minister from our abundance to those in need in our own backyard.

Prayer Focus Point #3: Verse 15 is hard to get your head around, but this refers to God’s miraculous provision for Israel in the wilderness. Pray that our supernatural God will provide miraculous provision for our brothers and sisters in the Ukraine and the surrounding areas.
