2 Corinthians 9:11-12 “¹¹ while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. ¹² For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

What an opportunity we have in our world today with the Russian War against Ukraine and the plight of those fleeing the violence. The Apostle Paul reiterates the fact that there are great opportunities for God’s people to be blessed as they bless others and create an environment for thanksgiving to God. Let us pray according to the following three focus points:

Prayer Focus Point #1: Pray that the generosity of America and especially Christians will continue to be generous toward people who are hurting around the world.

Prayer Focus Point #2: The Bible tells us to do good, especially to those of the household of faith. Pray that God’s people in crisis will be cared for first so they can in turn be those who will comfort others as they themselves have been comforted of God through His people.

Prayer Focus Point #3: Pray that when Christian relief efforts are effective in sharing Jesus with the recipients of benevolence so thanksgiving to God will abound like Paul said in this epistle.
