2 Corinthians 10:4-6 “⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not ^[a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, ⁵ casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ⁶ and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Paul instructs us to understand spiritual warfare and to utilize it in verses 4-5. Then in verse 6, he tells us to be alert to anything or spiritual force that would attempt to ensnare us once we find freedom in an area of life. He uses strong language “punish our disobedience” which means to starve the cravings of the flesh. Pray that believers in America will do this and may it then influence the non-believer and our government. There is a time and season to bring our thoughts, actions, and attitudes under God’s authority.
