Abram experienced much gain in Egypt. At times we think that prosperity is a sign of being in God’s Will. Let us PRAY that the deception of equating prosperity with righteousness be broken. Many times the current generation believes they are doing right because of the blessings experienced. Many times we experience, based upon the goodness and prayers of previous generations, blessings that give a feeling of affirmation by God but we did not “earn it”.
