Genesis 14:12-14 “¹² They also took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

¹³ Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, for he dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner; ^sand they were allies with Abram. ¹⁴ Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit ^was far as Dan.

Chapter 14 begins by describing the many wars in Abram’s day. When he heard that his nephew Lot had been captive, he gathered soldiers and went to rescue Lot and family. Pray that God’s people in America will rally the troops and rescue those who have been taken captive to lies and deception and teach them God’s truth about life and living.
