Genesis 16:2 “² So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall ^[a]obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.”

Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. At the time it seemed as though it was a good idea, but as the narrative unfolds we know that is not the case. Pray that decisions made by our leaders will not be made based on a certain voice that leads to destruction. Pray that our leaders will listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd.
