We Are The People

Genesis 16:11-12 “Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name ^[a]Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction. ¹² He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man,
And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”

The angel said there would be a “mixed bag” of direction in the relationship between Sarai’s child and the child of Hagar and the reason is as it says, “Because God heard the affliction that came to Hagar.”

Pray that we will see that there is a God who hears the prayer of the afflicted and even when there is friction, God is working things together for good in His own good time.
