We Are The People

Genesis 17:15-16

¹⁵ Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but ^[a]Sarah shall be her name. ¹⁶ And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer

tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

This is an awesome blessing Abraham and Sarah will receive – the Son of Promise – A type of Jesus Christ. It was many years coming, but God would show Himself faithful to His word.

Prayer Focus #1: God changed Sarai’s name to reveal to all – the once barren Sarai would become a princess and one who would be under the hand of God’s blessing.  

Prayer Focus #2: It is clear to see we are living in the last times, and we need the blessing of God so we can multiply and turn this nation around for God’s glory. Pray that the eyes of believers will be open to see the harvest is ripe. We see world events as a sign of the times. The world sees through the eyes of fear. Pray that there will be a revelation of faith overcoming fear imparted to the unbeliever that they will turn to Jesus.

Prayer Focus #3: Pray that the church, of which Sarah is a type, will realize that God has great plans for us as He did for Sarah. There are great men and women of God to be reached in days ahead that can make a profound difference in our world.
