Sunday, November 6, 2022 “God Desires to Tell Abraham”
Genesis 18:17-18
17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
It is interesting to note that God desires to show man His plans and purposes in the earth. Especially to those who can make a difference in the world. God has spoken to leaders as He did in the days of King Cyrus who enable the rebuilding of Israel.
Prayer Focus #1: Pray that our leaders will have a desire to hear the voice of God that will help them to know the best ways to handle God’s plans in the earth and not fight His desire.
Prayer Focus #2: God’s desire was to show Abraham His plans because Abraham would have an important part to play in world affairs due to Israel’s future greatness. Pray that our government will see the importance of following God’s will considering how blessed we are as a nation and our ability to impact the world because of the blessings God has bestowed upon America.
Prayer Focus #3: The vastness of God’s blessing is revealed in verse 18. Abraham was blessed and that blessing would flow to all nations. Pray that we who are so greatly blessed will be responsible unto God to as with Abraham being blessed, we bless. Pray that America will lead the way in this wonderful principle birthed in the heart of God as He gave his Son to the world.
