We Are The People

Genesis 19:6-8  So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him, ⁷ and said, “Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly! ⁸ See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

 Lot did what he could to protect his guests.  He even went beyond what would be expected, offering his 2 virgin daughters to the perverted men at his door.

Prayer Focus #1  Pray that as Lot placed himself in jeopardy to protect his visitors that American law enforcement will do their best to protect “strangers” to our land from sex trafficking.

Prayer Focus #2  As Lot went beyond anything one would expect offering his daughters to the evil men of his city to protect the strangers in his home – Pray that there would be no such compromise in America to protect strangers at the expense of those in “the family.”

Prayer Focus #3  Pray that America will develop ways and procedures on how to protect those who are legally under our “roof” and identify those who are unlawfully under our roof.  Safety and Financial Stability is at stake.
