We Are The People

Genesis 19:18-19 “¹⁸ Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my lords! ¹⁹ Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.”

You have to admire Lot’s bold approach toward the messengers but to say no to either God or one of His messengers from heaven goes beyond anything we would expect from a man of God. Let us pray today that we who are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus will grow in faith and boldly approach His throne of grace to obtain grace and mercy to help in the time of needs.
