Genesis 19:20-21 “²⁰ See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.”

²¹ And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.”

God’s best for Lot were the mountains but Lot, probably having learned there is room for negotiation from his uncle Abraham, bargained for and got what he desired. Pray that God’s people in America will choose to seek and fulfill God’s perfect will, not His good and acceptable will for their life or county.
