Monday January 9, 2023 “Distancing from Evil”
Genesis 20:1 And Abraham journeyed from there to the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur, and stayed in Gerar.
We now return to Genesis as our prayer guide. We ended the year with the record of Sodom and Gomorrah and the disaster end of that city and the tragedy experienced by Lot’s family who lived there. Today’s verse tells us that Abraham distanced himself from that God-awful place. Pray that as evil abounds in our generation that we will distance ourselves from the sinfulness.
