Friday January 27, 2023 “This is My Land?”
Genesis 20:15 “15 And Abimelech said, “See, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you.”
Abimelech sounds benevolent and pious when he said to Abraham, “this is my land – live wherever you want in my land.” Truth be told the land where Abimelech dwelled had been given to Abraham. Pray that here in America we who are true believer have been given this land to be a lighthouse to the world and we should not think it benevolent when we are somehow “given” something that is already ours.
