Genesis 22:3 “³ So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.”

Abraham split the wood where on the sacrifice would be laid. Splitting wood is no easy task. It had to be difficult for Abraham to do that especially at his age being over 100 years old. Pray that God’s people are willing to work hard at the task before us in restoring America to its Biblical roots and reaching out to a generation that does not understand the blessing of obedience to God and His ways. “Split the wood” of the cross – learn how to share the truth of the liberating power of Christ’s crucifixion that delivers from the power of sin and free the soul to love God and one another.
