Genesis 22:8 ⁸ And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.”

In the ancient Hebrew this verse includes the name of the Lord, “Jehovah Jireh” – the Lord our provider. In this day of concern over supply and demand, pray that God’s people will cast all the care about provision on our Great Jehovah God who promises to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ.
