Genesis 24:23-24

²³ and said, “Whose daughter are you? Tell me, please, is there room in your father’s house for us ^[a]to lodge?”

²⁴ So she said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel, Milcah’s son, whom she bore to Nahor.”

Having received a costly gift of gold and then having Eliezar fire questions at her must have been a little intimidating but Rebekah answered not knowing where all this was leading to. She answered well as the future bride of Isaac. Pray that we will be as the Bride of Christ, ones who are always ready to give answers for all the hope that is in us and that we will be able to communicate hope to others in America.
