Sunday, May 14, 2023 “Mother’s Day”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. Today we take a break from our prayer journey through Genesis to focus on Mother’s Day in our prayer focus.
Prayer Focus #1: From Psalm 139:13-14 where David speaks of being formed or woven in his mother’s womb to 1 Timothy 5:2 where Paul instructs us to treat the older women as mothers God speaks to us of the special place of mothers in this world. Pray that on this special day for mothers that all Americans will receive a revelation of life from conception to our last breath.
Prayer Focus #2: Exodus 20:12 God instructs us to honor our mother which means to obey and respect her. Pray that there will be a revival of honor for mothers in America.
Prayer Focus #3: In Judges 5:7 Deborah said that village life ceased until she arose as a mother in Israel. Pray that all ladies in America will arise as “mothers” that will return this country to a safe place where children can grow safely.
