We Are The People

We hate to hear the words from a repairman, “It can’t be fixed.”  With God those words are never for those who believe in Him.  God is able to fix anything spiritual, financial, emotional, physical, relational – whatever the challenge might be if we just take steps in the right direction.

King David of old wrote, “A broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise,” (Psalm 51:16-17).  The king broke before God when he heard the prophet Nathan’s words concerning his broken state.  God could then work with the man after His own heart.  David was fixed.

Pray, beginning with yourself and then for those around you, that there would not be the fear of brokenness, but instead, that humbly we would admit our brokenness so that God will help us fix the break that has caused us pain.  Pray for those things that are broken in your city also.
