We Are The People

In a day of spiritual bankruptcy in Israel a woman by the name of Hannah desired a son in her barrenness.  She promised God if you give me the child, I will give him back to you – which she did.  God’s gift to Hannah was Samuel who grew up in the Priest Eli’s house and learned there to hear and respond to the voice of God.   Samuel had a heart to learn, unlike Eli’s two rebellious sons Haphni and Phineas.  God worked in Samuel’s life to bring some restoration of glory to the House of God.

  Hannah raised her son to the age where she released Samuel to the teaching and mentoring of Eli.  Hannah also provided a new coat for her son when she came to the house of God to worship.

  Pray today that moms and dads will pray every day for their children and that God will see to it that good mentors be raised up in our school to help mold the children into people God can use to restore glory to America and our cities.  Pray also that parents be faithful to provide spiritually, emotionally, financially, and socially for their children so they might become the instrument of God to turn this land back to Biblical value and righteousness.
