We Are The People

So we are now told that there is a shift of focus from the government shutdown due to the budget fiasco to the debt-limit deadline upcoming.  Both issues are a matter of money.

Fiscal responsibility is such an important task given to those who govern.  This is true at the national, state and local levels.  This is also true at the family level which is vital to its survival and future hopes and dreams.

Most of us work hard to live on a budget and avoid debt service that exceeds what our personal budget allows.  Shouldn’t our leaders be expected to do the same with our hard earned tax dollars?

Let us pray in agreement that our President and both Houses of Congress will do their best at running our National financial house.  We need to live under a budget and a justifiable debt-ceiling that will enable our children and grandchildren to dream about a better tomorrow.
