Monday October 14, 2013 “Columbus Day”

Christopher Columbus – I grew up learning of the greatness of this man credited with “Discovering” America.  In recent past some have tried to discredit this person of faith and courage.
On this day when we remember Columbus’ part in this country becoming what it is today – a beacon of hope to the world – let’s pray prayers of agreement that honor be given to whom honor is due in America.  And that people be not deceived by revisionists who distort the truth and influence our children to believe lies about people who made this country great year’s ago.  Pray for those who continue to uphold righteousness and truth in our day.
The Bible speaks of a day when good would be called evil and evil would be called good.  Teach your children and grandchildren to discuss the difference between shepherds who lay down their lives for the sheep and wolves in sheep’s clothing.  Measure every word spoken by the Word of God.  Happy Columbus Day!
