We Are The People

  In Matthew 23: 23  Jesus said, “you strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.”  This was in reference to the Jewish leaders performing outward signs of religious practice, yet they did not deal with heart issues. Perhaps America finds itself in this same condition today.

   People get themselves wound around a pole concerning the name of a football team while the nation is facing a financial crises due to increasing national debt.

   Can we agree in prayer today that we who call America home will begin to see that the real issues in life that threaten our nation at the very core must be dealt with and not be sidetracked.  When the main things that make up life are brought under the authority of God’s word we become less involved in things like naming sports teams according to political correctness.
