We Are The People

Neh 8: 6 + 8  “And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. Then all the people answered, “Amen, Amen!” while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground….    ⁸ So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.”

 Ezra begins by blessing God. The Priest understood God’s greatness and the great need of God’s people.  The people needed God’s thoughts that are higher than man’s thoughts. Ezra spoke clearly and incisively.

  Let us agree in prayer that preachers will speak from their pulpits like Ezra did with Israel as the people were being restored and revived.
