Luke 2:8-11 “8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
It is the Sunday before Christmas and we gather in heart to pray once again that God’s favor rest upon His people and this great land we call home. As we come together in faith and intercession between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. (all time zones) let us agree on the following 3 Prayer Focus points:
#1 – That believers discover a faith that dispels all fears as we face a world that rejects our Biblical world view as Christians.
#2 – Pray that preachers across the land share a Christmas message that is pointed, practical and powerful as a testimony to the simplicity of Christ the angel brought and peace the apostle practiced in the power of the Spirit.
#3 – Pray that our message always brings hope “Good News” and to all men. That every community receives a clear message of Christ this Christmas.
